Castero are a three piece heavy rock band based in Tipperary. Their music has been called hard rock, heavy blues, stoner
metal, and southern metal. Influenced by the likes of Black Sabbath, Orange Goblin, Clutch, and Black Label Society the band mixes old school and new school metal creating their own heavy and groovy sound. As Castero's motto goes: “It's all about the groove!”

So hard to really pick a favorite... and not just this album. Steak are the genuine, real deal. Straight up hard rock with killer hooks, the drums pounding it OUT, every group member delivering bang your head contributions. Man, I'm no gifted reviewer... I just know Steak kicks ass. Every song. Ok f course I have personal favorites, but just f'ing listen. If your a hard/stoner rock fan, forget the chicken. Steak is on the menu.👍

Go ahead & listen to the beginning of King City on a pair of good headphones. Ida bought this album on THAT experience alone! Zep/Chris Cornell- true, true. But that's not even close to all these guys bring to the table. Steeped in blues based hard rock, it's no one genre. Like the Mighty Zeppelin they're rockin' heavy even when they slow it down. I. Love. This. Band.And 1 things for sure... they love what they do. If you got this far you will too.🤘

Blackwater Station is like a melting pot of great artists. I can hear QFTSA’s catchy hooks, Sahara Surfers’ silky vocals over heavy riffs & Throttlerod’s punk/metal fusion in there. And I must say that the mix works surprisingly well.
